Volunteers Needed

DVolunteers Needed for Race to Empower! - United Cerebral Palsy of ...o you enjoy welcoming others and possess the ability to help build community?  If so, you can put your talent to work by assisting the Stewardship Comm

Fellowship Subcommittee
Serve coffee and treats on Sundays after Mass.  This monthly event is missed by many.  Use your talents to help to get this up and running again.

New Member Welcoming Subcommittee
Welcome prospective members and new members by staffing our Welcome Station each weekend.  You can also help meet and greet new members at the new member breakfast which is held quarterly.

Funeral Luncheon Hospitality Ministry

Looking for additional people interested in St. James Funeral Luncheon Hospitality Ministry.  This Ministry will offer hospitality support to families hosting catered funeral luncheons at St. James Community Center following a funeral Mass.  If interested in serving as part of this ministry group, please contact Carole McGibany at mcgibanyc@gmail.com or 262-366-5624.

Liturgical Ministers

Do you want to take a more active role in the Mass?  Do you have a heart of service?  Please call the parish office to join one of the ministries that make our vibrant Masses possible.  We are looking for youth and adults to serve in the following areas:  Greeters, Ushers, Lectors, Acolytes (servers at the Altar), musicians, singers and Eucharistic Ministers.  Call the parish office at 262-251-3944 to learn more.

Sandwich Makers

St. James & Good Shepherd Anti-Trafficking Ministry makes lunch once a month for Franciscan Peacemakers Street Ministry.  Contact Deb Schneider at djschneider86@gmail.com.

St. Ben’s Meal Program

Consider donating food to the St. Ben’s Community Meal.  St. James provides and serves food once a month (the third Wednesday) at St. Ben’s meal site on 9th Street in Milwaukee. We need parishioners to bring salads (no lettuce), fruits, vegetables, or meat or seafood casseroles/pastas to St. James.  Please write on foil/wrap whether it is salad, vegetable, or casserole.  Please drop your donations off any time between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm at St. James in the upstairs kitchen.  Our driver leaves promptly at 3:45.  If you have questions call Lynn at 262-227-9862.  We suggest using throw away dishes.
